All our business cards are made with 100% post-consumer recycled paper. By doing so, we support the Australian recycled materials market by closing the recycling loop. More famously, recycled paper also protects forests, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, energy, water and virgin resource consumption over a lifecycle of transportation, production, consumption, and disposal. Many recycled products can be reused or recycled again and again, closing the resource loop. 

We are proud to ship all our orders in compostable shipping mailers, a great step towards reducing the amount of plastic waste which ends up in our environment! Heropack shipping mailers are made of cornstarch and cassava roots, so they are both Home and Commercially Compostable, but also waterproof, super durable and act like plastic in the shipping process. In a compostable environment, they break down in 90 days, leaving no waste or toxins behind as if they were never there, as opposed to plastic’s 400 year or more breakdown process. Simply throw it into a compost bin and the bag will turn into yummy food for the worms and become a nutrient rich fertiliser for your garden.

All our seafood treats are wild caught instead of farmed. This means no antibiotics are used to keep them healthy or promote growth. Wild caught seafood are also not prone to disease or illness because they live in their natural environment. Their natural habitat does not need to be constantly treated and monitored, leaving them free to simply do what fish do and thrive, ensuring your pet is rewarded with the very best quality seafood.

Rather than importing treats from overseas, we produce and sell our pet treats here in Australia. By being certified Australian, we are supporting the farmers and people of a community to deliver what your pet deserves - the highest quality products that are locally manufactured. 

Our aim is to package all our treats in compostable plastic pouches, like our compostable mailers, to further reduce the amount of plastic waste which ends up in our environment!
